Fussen - Rothenburg ob der Tauber

This is the first part of the Romantic Road in Bavaria, starting from Fussen, going through Schwangau, Steingaden, Rottenbuch, Peiting, Schongau - all quaint villages set among the rolling foothills and lush forests (The Pfaffenwinkel area - literally "Monks Corner")- making first stop in Landsberg am Lech and roccoco church in Wies, then continuing toward Augsburg (stopping to gaze at the imposing castle in Harburg), spending some time in Nordlingen im Reis and medieval Dinkelsbuhl, and arriving in Rothenburg at the end of day.
